“Down with Hepatitis” – Watch the free documentary

Featuring FixRx’s Founder, Dr James Freeman and other global leaders in the sector. Celebrating the journey of the tiny Pacific country of Niue in eliminating viral hepatitis.

Released to mark World Hepatitis Day, the first screening at Auckland hospital was for the World Health Organization (WHO) Western Pacific Regional Director, Dr Saia Piukala. 

This region has half of all the world’s cases of Hepatitis. Dr Piukala was hosted by Professor Ed Gane, who conducted the first human trials for the breakthrough Hep C cure, Sofosbuvir. 

“Everyone should see this” was Dr Piukala’s reaction.
